Tahiirah Allen and Theodore Jackson, Homecoming Queen and King

October 28, 2005

Tahiirah Allen and Theodore Jackson, both seniors, were announced as Penn State’s 2005 Homecoming Queen and King. It was the first time African Americans held both titles in the same year, and just the second time overall for each crown.

Allen, a member of Zeta Phi Beta sorority, also served as president of the local National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) at the time.
