Penn State Lion Ambassadors are organized

January, 1982

The Penn State Lion Ambassadors, organized by Larry Atwell, Jr., began serving the role of student/alumni liaisons. The Ambassadors provided service to the University while enhancing the relationships between students and alumni.

They would later become well known for their role as official campus tour guides for prospective students, alumni, and VIPs.
