Katrina Scott
Katrina Scott, a native of Jamaica, became president of the Committee for Justice in South Africa and led the organization through its most significant period.
By building strong alliances with African American groups and the Undergraduate Student Government (USG), as well as employing innovative and aggressive protest methods, the Committee for Justice in South Africa played a major role in increasing the pressure on the Board of Trustees to divest all holdings from companies doing business in South Africa.
